how it began
Jendre was born from a need, not a business plan.
I started Jendre with my sister Jen, hence the name Jendre, a blend of our names Jen & Dre (my family nickname).
When my son was diagnosed with food allergies, eczema, and asthma… everything changed. Suddenly, it wasn’t just about what went in our bodies, but what went on them. That search sent me deep down the rabbit hole of ingredient lists, forever chemicals, hidden irritants, and the frustrating truth that most “safe” body care is still filled with junk, wildly overpriced, or simply doesn’t work.
So I did what any determined mom would do, I rolled up my sleeves and started creating it myself. Because in our family, when you can’t find what you need, you make it.
My sister and I spent countless hours testing, tweaking, and reworking formulas in our kitchens. We learned what actually helped dry, sensitive skin and what didn’t. Those early days were about curiosity, care, and figuring things out together.
What started as body butters and sugar scrubs has morphed into what Jendre is today and the foundation on which we are built.
Today, every Jendre product is made with that same intention: elevated basics designed for everyday use, thoughtfully formulated without unnecessary or harmful ingredients, and created to actually work and help your skin.
We create simple, nourishing body care that is made to love you back.
And while my sister is no longer with Jendre, the foundation we built together continues to shape everything I create.

We skip the watered-down formulas filled with junk and the misleading branding for body care that’s elevated, real, and made with intention. Body care should always feel luxurious and truly be good for you.

Thoughtful Ingredients → we avoid unnecessary additives and keep formulas clean and purposeful. Every ingredient serves a purpose, and a good one at that.
Mindful Packaging → we use recyclable, reusable, or minimal packaging wherever possible. We don’t create more waste than we need to and we are mindful of what we do use for packaging.
Plastic-Free Future → we are actively work toward being fully plastic-free, choosing better materials step by step. We ensure our packaging is sustainable AND practical for daily use.
Small-Batch Crafting → We handcraft products in small runs to reduce waste and maintain freshness.
